Arlan Andrews, Sr., is an author of over 500 publications, including science fiction stories and novels as well as non-fiction speculative articles and columns on unusual topics including futurism consulting, ancient technologies, and paranormal phenomena. A retired engineer, he held positions at White Sands Missile Range, the White House Science Office, Bell Labs, a national nuclear weapons lab, and several high-tech startups. He founded and directs SIGMA, the science fiction think tank, numbering about forty science fiction and game writers who provide pro bono futurism consulting to the US Government and others.
